My name is Farrah Mechael. I am a professional recording artist with almost a lifetime of experience in the music industry.
Singing has been my true passion since I was very young; in fact, I could sing before I could speak. I am classically trained, as I grew up singing around gospel churches in Detroit which eventually led to me joining the Michigan Opera Theater’s Children’s Chorus. A great honor for me was performing “At Last” by Etta James at Obama’s Inauguration ceremony in Detroit.
During high school, I began making my own music. My sister Tamara and I are songwriters, and we have amassed years of experiences and gained contact with some extremely talented producers and writers in the game.
Following the release of my first EP, I went on a 16 city U.S. tour. I performed at iHeartRadio’s “Wango Tango” before Ariana Grande and Marshmello in 2018, and last fall I was Bud Light’s sponsored artist opening for Chris Brown and Tory Lanez. I released my most recent EP “Lies” in June, and I am planning on releasing another project this fall.
I am ready for the next decade of making music, performing songs, and spreading an important message. Music is the universal language, and I intend to use this language to speak to people around the world through songs.
